So, actually the concept for this one came from being all the way honest, was I was in Gambia, West Coast Africa, and I was, we were doing a podcast, like really our third or fourth attempt at doing one, and I realized like a big aspect of it for me was like having guests on, but then I started to notice one thing online that I really thought was a little misingenuous was that they would always bring on other influencers, other people who have, you know, people who like a lot, but that doesn't really explain what the common person thinks, because once you start having fame, like in Gambia, I was like famous for a while, it was cool, you know, but I owned a restaurant, I had people who came to the restaurant, so restaurant tour, musician, putting out content, so like people treat you differently, how you look at life can change rather fast.
[59.4s]SPEAKER_01:Sure, I can imagine, I'm not, but I can imagine.
[63.3s]SPEAKER_00:So, when I, I feel like talking to people throughout all spectrums of it, like I've gotten influencers in here, I'll admit influencer answers to some of the questions on the survey, vastly different, I'm like, okay, I can tell that you've lived this life a little bit, so now your thoughts on it have changed a bit. So, I think that part was always important, so then getting an Uber and Lyft ride, I mean, this was my hustle beforehand, but doing it like this, I was like, oh, let me have an opinion on anything, I will come into this car and find out, I will talk to people and be like, yeah, what do you think about this? And I might find out like, oh, I'm on the outskirts of this, for really real, or I might find out that most people agree with me. So, I definitely wanted to give people content that felt relatable, and also debatable, and in my time of pursuing a music career, and a couple of things like that, one thing that my band mates and I were always told, and Keppelgane told, was, it's like, yo, y'all are dope with this whole music thing, but it's bigger than the music, like y'all are bigger than the music, and we never truly listened to that, we tried other things, but I'm now 31, and I'm like, oh, my goodness, I understand why so many doors had opened, or why some people were like, oh, yeah, come on, do this, come on, work with this, work with this person, work with this person, it was because if sat in the room or just talked to us, and then heard our music, you'd be like, I, we would tell everyone like, yo, you're a squad, like, that was the whole thing, you joined squad family, and people would be like, that's my favorite part of the show, I feel like I really know you guys, like, you guys are my five best friends, and my five brothers, like, I love that.
